An increasingly interconnected and digitalized world is transforming the competitive environments in virtually all industries. Connected vehicle data is one piece of an emerging puzzle of new data sources and digital infrastructure. The Porsche Data Cup is an invitation for start-ups and corporations from the US to collaborate with the automotive industry to speed up the development of product ideas and business models for this new interconnected world.
Porsche and High Mobility enjoy a lengthy business partnership. The Porsche Data Cup has become somewhat of an institution in the industry of connected car applications and data-driven mobility services. The Porsche Data Cup '22 | US Edition is already the fourth open innovation competition organized by Porsche and High Mobility.
We are inviting developer teams and companies from industries such as smart home, fintech and insurance, or e-mobility to compete in the Porsche Data Cup. Teams can apply with or without specific product ideas. During the implementation phase from March 7 to April 10, 2022, the teams will develop, build and test their products with the help of data simulations from the Porsche Car Emulator. They will be advised and supported by High Mobility, both in terms of the API connectivity and in terms of the feasibility of their projects.
Registration is already open and will remain open during the first four weeks of the implementation phase until April 3.
The winning team will get three months of free Porsche vehicle data via High Mobility as well as support from Porsche to further develop and successfully market their ideas and products. Porsche will also provide them with coverage and reach via their own media and communication channels.
